2011/12 Athlete Meeting - November 26

We are holding an Athlete meeting November 26th at the Tom Brown Arena. All competetive athletes are asked to attend. An Agenda will go out November 19th.

K2/Jr Sugarloaf Camp (Nov 30 – Dec 11)

An early season camp is planned for Sugarloaf.  Details are yet to be finalized but will likely be Nov 30 to Dec 11. The plan for this camp is that racers can attend for the duration, or for the second half only. Parent volunteers will be needed here; not just for taxi service but for feeding the team as well. Last year, parents sent prepared meals and that seemed to work out well. We'll work out the details as we start to have some idea of participation. For this trip we would like to know soon who is interested since availability is decreasing and most importantly, there is a substantial rate increase at the end of the month. Think about it for now! We will be asking for a firmer commitment shortly.

I2/K1/K2/Jr Whiteface Camp (Dec   16 – Dec 20)

Our annual Whiteface camp is being expanded this year. We will be adding an additional day to all of the past schedules. Dates have been set at Dec 16 to 20. Our numbers will exceed the capacity at the Steinhoff this year so some team members will have to stay somewhere nearby. We would still all be together though for the evening meal, debrief, video etc. We will need quite a few parents to help with driving (preference given to minivans with lots of seats!). Details to follow!

K2/Jr GS Camp (Jan 2 – Jan 5)

An early season GS camp is planned for Grand Font .  Details are yet to be finalized but will likely be Jan 2 to Jan 5.
